A contract ( non-negotiable document ) of transportation by air that is issued by the carrier, airline , freight forwarder or agent to serve as a receipt to shipper ( consignor ) for the goods and contains the shipping terms and conditions and details of the cargo shipped. ( There are two types : 1 - HAWB ( House Air WayBill ) which is issued by the freight forwarder. 2- MAWB ( Master Air WayBill ) which is issued by the carrier or the airline .
